Damiana insists that since Conrad has the money to spend he should aquire more suitable clothes for himself and the party. She gives him the choice of two locations. Conrad chooses to go to a store called Church.

The group takes two taxis to Church, an upscale but scene-y clothing store. The outside of the store is completely covered in plant growth. They briefly encounter a counter clerk called Ivy, but do not engage her in conversation.

Boris, Conrad, Kelsie, Klein, and Marcus obtain new clothes while Todaki refuses to change out of his Samurai costume. Several thousand dollars were spent on clothing, including several dresses Dams persuaded Conrad to buy.

Conrad has an an encounter over the phone and discards his old cell.

The group proceeds to Apple store to purchase smart phones upon Dams’ suggestion.

Conrad purchased phones for Kelsie, Marcus, and himself as well as an iPad for the Russian. They got family plan. The Clerk suggested Conrad buy the app ‘Helicopter Parent’ to track Kelsie’s phone.

Part II Dusk

Frustrated and exhausted, the party finds a hotel room for the night called ‘The Hollywood Vagabond’, a two story motel. They obtain two rooms, adjacent and connected by a door.

The party spies a hooded figure watching them from an alley, but when approached the figure slips away.

Marcus removes the lightbulbs in the room he is staying in and uses it to craft makeshift grenades compatible with his launcher.

Marcus and Todaki set off to explore the immediate area.

Seeking weapons of their own, Conrad and Joey attempt to locate a gun shop in the area. The hotel clerk is unable to help them, but Joey manages to coerce information of the clerk’s weed dealer from him.

Conrad, Kelsie, and Joey also head off back into the city. The return to In-And-Out to find Mindy, a part-time pot dealer.

Mindy knows no means to acquire guns in Hollywood but sells Conrad a bag of weed.

Kelsie sneaks away from his adult companions and makes his way to Sunset Blvd, which is livening up for the night.

Kelsie manages to sneak into a Art Deco themed Nightclub by the name of Boardner’s. He encounters three Changlings. Grim, Jack Nimble, and The Waxfaced Man. The Waxfaced Man takes Kelsie to a private booth to explain some things.

Marcus and Todaki snoop around, following the trail that they assume the hooded figure from earlier followed. They come across a large storage warehouse for disused props that appears to have been recently broken into by multiple parties. They follow a trail through the dust. Several items appear to have been rooted around in.

At the back of the warehouse they encounter Aisling, or Ash, sitting atop a tall stack of crates. After tense conversation Ash allows Marcus to have his phone number as a sign of goodwill and offers to take them to the next Goblin Market that he is aware of.

In a wastebin outside the warehouse, Benny emerges, presumably from the Hedge.

Benny enters the warehouse and begins to explore. He finds a sleek matte black vehicle under one of the tarps. Unfortunately the vehicle has no engine and would not run.

Benny joins up with Marcus and Todaki they return to the hotel to regroup with Conrad and Joey. While at the a hotel rooms another person appears from out of their closet. A Bloodbrute Ogre Gladiator by the name of Pelagius.

Marcus overhears the conversation of a group of Autumn Courtiers in the upper loft. Jack Nimble and Grim are informing Lady Grey that someone named ‘Testament’ was recently murdered. A King of the Autumn court, despite having standing within the court she doesn’t seem to care about the plight of the Courtiers in other districts.

Lady Grey encounters the party in her search for The Waxfaced Man. Grey seems annoyed with the party but recommends the party seek out the Safe Harbor Society, a group that exists to help Changelings newly arrived to the world.

The Spangled Lady Refrenced

Lady Seres awoke in what appeared to be a dumpster full of dismembered manikin parts. The dumpster was located inside a prop warehouse near the motel where the group is staying. She explored the warehouse to some degree and exited, seeing a red Ferrari speed by.

Kelsie spotted her wandering about and after consulting Conrad brought her into the wrecked double motel room.

Meanwhile ‘Benny’, Conrad, Joey, Todaki, and Halt Aratory stop by a Savers in Sun Valley before taking the bus home.

On the bus ride home the group spots a curious graffiti on a steel door under a bridge that crosses the river. The bridge being a part of Magnolia Blvd. The graffiti is a black ring of thorns surrounding the door, but appears to have recently been marked by a sloppy red X.

Conrad and Marcus both mark the location in their phones for later exploration.

Jack Nimble contacts Conrad on the bus trip home, informing him that he has a means for the party to repay their debts. He instructs Conrad to meet with Grim at the Hemingway Club on Sunset Strip.

After the bus ride the party returns to the motel. Kelsie is gifted a bow and arrows which he uses to snipe three pigeons, much to Seres‘s dismay and Marcus’s amusement. Kelsie explains his need to hunt birds to the party to fulfill his contract with The Cat.

After killing three birds Kelsie joins the motley as they return to sunset strip. They meet Grim outside the Hemingway Club and she leads them to a secluded garden behind the club and fills them in on their task. Jack Nimble wants them to silence a human paparazzi journalist by the name of Andie Harland.

Andy has been stalking Hollywood Spring court, but it has now become a major problem since he is stalking the Queen. The motley is new, cutting down their chances of being recognized. The party needs to silence Andie without killing him, hurting him, or making him mysteriously disappear to avoid notice of Hunters.

Burley Steve(by phone)
Carlos Cargal
Aisling “Ash”

Markus Toren receives a phone call from Aisling “Ash” informing him that he has found Headless Klein tied up inside a dumpster. Klien mentioned several names h6. Your title here…of the party members and Ash wanted to know if the headless man indeed was a friend of the party.

After confirming that they knew him, Ash mentioned that he had found the man near Toluca lake between North Hollywood and Burbank. As the motley boarded the bus Ash set off to find a bus stop to meet them at.

About an hour later Ash calls them back and agrees to meet them at the North Hollywood park bus stop.

While on the bus the motley encounters a plump Mexican man staring at them. He appears to be able to see them for what they are, monsters, and when asked describes them in detail. The man’s name is Carlos Cargal and he claims he was attacked by a large, fat, el duende with sharp teeth at the restaurant he works at in Santa Monica. He asks the party to not tell other el duende that they saw him and not kill him.

The party gets off the bus at the stop Ash mentioned and find him playing keep away with Klien’s head. After ‘rescuing’ their Headless friend Klien informed them that Damiana had asked him to come outside to look at something. He remembers smelling something sweet and then loosing conciousness. He then remembers waking up in a dumpster the following morning, tied up with zip-tie cuffs. He also remembers Dams talking about a ‘Shuck’.

After questioning Ash some and receiving his help in locating the business office of ‘The Other Guy’ a tabloid paper that employs Andie Harland, The motley proceeds into Burbank, seeking out the office. Without much trouble they find The Other Guy located in a suprsingly quaint office. Laying on the desk is pile of sealed envelopes. One of them bearing Andie’s name. Upon opening it they find his paycheck and a home address for Andie. Joey attempts to pocket the evelope, but Conrad puts it back.

A middle aged woman receptionist appears and Joey introduces the group as college students. After questioning they find out that Andie has been out of the office and was supposedly going to cover a story in the desert about the alien life forms he was so wrapped up in lately.

The motley then proceeded to board the bus again to Lakehome, a suburban district to the South of Los Angeles. On the way Conrad stumbles across facebook and finds the page of someone who appears to be him, only aged the number of years he was in Faerie. Mr. Emmerich had recently posted vacation photos of himself and his wife in Nice France. In fact just a few days before Conrad awoke in Hollywood. The man appears to now be the VP of the company Conrad worked for before disappearing.

The motely finds Andie Harland‘s appartment in a poor, but not completely impovrished appartment complex. Joey manages to pick the lock and they enter a dark room, noticing a terrible stench as they enter. The lights of the appartment are out and the room appears dishevled. A few of Andie’s old stories are laying abouty as well as a few books on the paranormal, all of recent aquisition. In a book on faeries they find a scrap of paper with the name ‘Handsome Jhonny’ on it with a phone number obscured by a stain.

Amoungst the titles were: The Mothman: Prophecy Beyond, Aliens Among Us: Truth Behind Stonehenge, Alien Abductions and Influence on the Celts and Other Ancient European Cultures, The Jersey Devil: Truthful Sightings, Faeires: Photographic and Historical Proof, Freaks Among Us.

In the book on the Jersey Devil Joey finds photos and uncanny illustrations of himself, as well as a monstous being with grey skin, a horse’s head, bat wings, claws, that walked upright on cloven hooves.

Curious, Conrad calls Burley Steve and asks him questions about the party encounters that day. While on the call with Steve, Klein mentions that sometimes the Keepers have Changelings that they send into the mortal realm to do their bidding.

Joey and Conrad both try to recall their durance, and both receive terrible visions. Visions that will haunt their Dreams in the weeks to come. Before leaving Andie’s home the group trashed his house, writing obscenities on the walls in red marker and leaving dollar bills with the eyes blacked out iin a pentagram pattern on the floor.

Tired and feeling ill, the motley and Klien board the last bus home. While passing through downtown L.A. Conrad spots a stocky man with stained clothes and sharp teeth wearing a red beanie. The man smiles a grotesque smile before te bus pulls away.
